Building brotherhood among its members

Rho Sigma strives to foster friendship among its members. This is accomplished through shared activities. Besides participating in service events and spirit and athletic activities, Red Shirts enjoyed a variety of parties, road trips, outings and mixers, for members only and with sororities from both Ouachita and Henderson. Some of the more popular events are the annual Christmas Party, Fall Outing, Alumni Reception, Buffalo River Float Trip (since 1985), Spring Outing (since 1965), Crawfish Boil, Red Light Green Light, Blackout, and Founders Day Banquet (since 1935). We also enjoy unusually strong alumni support. Besides the annual Homecoming reception, we interacted with alumni at U of A tailgates and at a special alumni cookout at Homecoming. Alumni also assisted Rho Sigma in this year's Ball Run. There is a saying, "Once a Red Shirt, always a Red Shirt." Rho Sigma is a brotherhood for life.
