Red Shirts Receiving Athletic Honors
Most of Rho Sigma's charter members were varsity athletes, and the Fraternity has continued that tradition, supplying OBU with most of its outstanding sportsmen. Rho Sigma has provided Ouachita with more football players than the rest of Ouachita's fraternities combined and has had more players in football, baseball, basketball, track and cross country, and golf than any other fraternity. Several have gone on to careers as professional athletes, coaches, and officials.
We apologize that this listing of Red Shirt Athletic Honorees is incomplete. Records are spotty, so some of the honorees have undoubtedly been omitted.
