Red Shirts Believe in ... PARTICIPATION

Rho Sigma believes that a true education must strike a balance between theory and practice. To this end, we honor and recognize both earning good grades and taking part in extracurricular activities. Red Shirts believe some of the most valuable lessons learned in college are learned outside the classroom. In Rho Sigma, you can gain experience you cannot get in any other campus organization, from honing leadership skills to practicing planning and implementing projects to learning how to get along with people with wildly different backgrounds and interests. We have always been willing participants in campus events and activities, acting as guides and hosts for campus guests, volunteering for Tiger Serve Day and other community service activities, and simply being willing to pitch in and help out. We believe that, if you want to be a leader, you have a duty to help others. That's why Red Shirts were the first to sponsor campuswide activities and why we have always been among Ouachita's most loyal and dedicated alumni. We have always been there when Ouachita needed us. And, we always will be!
