Creating a better spirit of school loyalty

To edit the photo gallery click on 'edit this page' to open the 'page editor'. Click on an empty frame within the gallery to enlarge it and the 'choose an image' option will appear. If uploading your own image click 'Upload' and choose the 'images' option. This creates a new browser window - follow the instructions to upload your own image file. Rho Sigma IS Tiger Spirit, and generations of Red Shirts have added to Rho Sigma's spirit tradition, winning more spirit accolades than any other campus organization. We added one more this fall by winning the athletic department's spirit competition. The Cheerleaders honored the Red Shirts in the Sixties by giving Rho Sigma permanent custody of both football run-throughs and the Henderson pep rally, traditions we have proudly continued. Since 1965, we have annually sponsored the Torchlight Parade and Bonfire. The All-Night Bell-Ring and Tiger Watch was added in 1971, and the Game Ball Relay Run was started in 1988. In 2006-2007 we sponsored the first Spring Football Games to boost participation in the football program. The Fall 2006 Ball Run had special significance, as Red Shirts raised money for every mile run to benefit Red Shirt alumnus and high school football coach Scott Neathery, who is suffering from leukemia. We raised about $2,000.
