The Heritage of Rho Sigma

Rho Sigma is a proud fraternity with much to be proud of. The accomplishments of the Red Shirts over the years, both at Ouachita and after graduation, are many. Rho Sigma is a unique fraternity in many ways. We are the oldest fraternity at Ouachita and one of the oldest local fraternities in Arkansas-- decades older than many national fraternity chapters in the state. Red Shirts have forged the best record on campus in community service, varsity athletics, intramural athletics, leadership, campus spirit, and social activities. We have managed to be selective without being snobs, creating a fraternity of individuals -- unity without uniformity. And, we have consistently championed the cause of the common student. Along the way, we have always maintained an above-average GPA, and managed to place a higher percentage of our graduates in Who's Who than any other campus fraternity. Our alumni have been successful in a variety of fields on levels from local to international. For such a small fraternity, we have left a large mark on the world.
